On Sunday, I was feeling full of enough beans to head into the centre of Glasgow city in search for afternoon tea. We found a winner at Hugh’s Bar & Restaurant which was located within House of Frasers. We were worried it might be quite loud being situated within the department store but as soon as you walked in, it was like you were some where entirely different. We sat at the front of the restaurant so we could people watch whilst working our way through a selection of sandwiches, with vegetable crisps, cakes, scones and petit fours. We washed it all down with champagne and tea before wandering through the department store, pausing by all the make up counters to try out different lipsticks. I then managed to snap some photos of Glasgow with a bright blue sky, including a lovely one of a statue with a traffic cone hat, Fi told me that apparently the police have given up removing it now, as everytime they do a new cone appears a few days later. When the sun started to fade, we returned to the flat to make beef stroganoff, with cool beers and watch a good film, though thinking about it, it may have been Step Up 2 that we watched…
